Fly Your Way
Segelflug Mollis is a gliding club and flight school based at Mollis airfield. We are a friendly and easy-going club for pilots with a wide range of interests. Here, student pilots fly alongside experienced cross-country pilots, leisure pilots meet competition pilots, and club members come from different language regions and countries. What unites us is the enjoyment of soaring.
Our manageable size allows for personal instruction and uncomplicated flying operations. At the same time, our members benefit from a modern fleet and infrastructure that support everything from local pleasure flights to ambitious cross-country soaring.
Flying in two-seaters is particularly important to us. It gives less experienced pilots the opportunity to explore new regions alongside experienced cross-country pilots, gain confidence and broaden their horizons. Our self-launching Arcus M and DG-1000 provide two high-performance two-seat gliders ideally suited for this purpose.
Like any club, we rely on the commitment of our members. Helping with flight operations, maintaining our aircraft and looking after our infrastructure are all part of club life, alongside flying together. At the same time, we value a relaxed atmosphere and respect the different goals and interests of our members.
Once a month, we operate our winch. These launch days provide student pilots and experienced pilots alike with an efficient and affordable way to practise take-offs and landings.
Welcome to Segelflug Mollis.
Who is who?
Our club only functions thanks to the tremendous dedication of our board and our members. Everyone works on a voluntary basis, enabling us to offer affordable flight training and flight operations.
