Mollis Airfield

1,800 metres of safety

Mollis Airfield is a former military airfield and, at 1,800 metres long and 40 metres wide, offers a safe environment for self-launch pilots. The Glarus Alps provide a spectacular backdrop. Mollis is quick and easy to reach from the greater Zurich area via the A2. Via Netstal railway station, the airfield is ideally connected to Zurich main station with services every half hour, taking just one hour. And once you’re in the beautiful Glarus region, it immediately feels like a holiday.

Safety and Comfort

Thanks to the fully asphalted apron, you can comfortably rig and depart in your self-launching glider. The long runway offers reassuring safety on take-off, while the cool shade of the Glärnisch brings calm at the end of the day. Visit us and discover the advantages of Mollis.

Fleet

From Your First Flight to the Arcus M

Our single-seaters and two-seaters cover training, cross-country and performance gliding.

The DG-1000 training two-seater and the easy-to-fly DG-300 are ideal for beginners during and after training.

The single-seater DG-800 flap glider stands for top performance in alpine cross-country flying.

The Arcus-M is a powerful self-launching glider that sets standards in comfort, flexibility and independence – particularly attractive for private pilots who want to fly relaxed in pairs.
